Default 99 Suburban 350 5.7L Vortec rebuild (First)

I am working on doing my first vortec rebuild and am hoping to get some feedback on things to watch for from ya'll.

Back story: bought this burban knowing it needed work (had water in oil) I know I would have a cracked head, found two. After tearing down the top end found excessive water in the lifter valley for me to just redo just the top end(160K). I have not removed the block just yet, plan on doing that next week.

Now for the questions running through my head:

1 If the bearings are NOT spun does the crank/block NEED reworked or can I just drop std. bearings back in it? Crank journals need polished correct?

2 When I pull the cam does the block NEED reworked or canI just put std. cam bearings back in?

This is going to be a daily driver and I am on a budget. So any help on where I can save $$ while not cutting the wrong corners. Will keep updated and will post more pics as I do the work.

THANK YOU ALL AGINE FOR THE INPUT!!

Well no spun bearing

Still have to pull the harmonic balancer, crank, and cam.
