2011 rear door locks
the kid's 2011 equinox has a strange problem, first it was the drivers side rear door would sometime unlock and other times stay locked.I think it was just the lock **** on the door rubbing against the housing, because a spray of silicone lub fixed it.
The passengers side rear door is more confusing, to make it work (sometimes ) you need to lock then unlock the childproof door lock button on the Centre console. This will some times allow you to open the door but other times it won't open.You can hear the lock actuator clunking so that should indicate that the BCM is sending a signal and that the fuse is good. If you watch the lock **** you can see it move up and down as the lock unlock buttons are pushed. I wonder if it is a mechanical,or electricall problem.
