equinox 2006 experience
Hi,
I am new in the forum. I would like to share my experience in repairs in my Equinox. I purchased a demo unit equinox 2006 with 18K miles on 2007. My experience with respect to repairs (besides brakes and oil change routine maintenance) so far with 60K on it:
Replacement of front shock absorber
Replacement of Front Links
Replacement of Rear Links
Replacement of Battery
Replacement of Left Front Wheel Speed Sensor and Cable
Replacement of Hydraulic Mount (Just Below the Serpentine Belt)
Replacement of Front Brake Rotors
Approximate Cost of Repairs Above $1,500.00
Any one with similar experience?

Not as bad but lets just say it has had its fair share of trips to the dealer we just fixed a broken wire issue thanks to EinSt and the for sale sign will be going onvery soon 11,000 mile too many problems to keep.

My daughter has a 2006 Equinox. 2 months ago the shop told her she needed 'this and that' with a price tag of $1500. I did all the work and bought parts from online for less than half the price.
Replaced
both rear shocks
both front struts
both front rotors & brakes pads
both front hub bearing (Timkin brand)
*brought it in for an alignment
PS the hubs took 2 hours to pound out with a torch and 3lb sledge.
