Default Equinox - Replacing Radio

I have a 2007 Equinox LS base model. It had the cheep factory radio and no On Star. I replaced the radio, but the installer was asking if I had a wiring harness. They "hard wired" the radio, but now I lost the chimes that tell you when the lights are left on and when the key is left in the ignition. I also lost the feature that the radio continues to play for a short time AFTER you turn the engine off. Does anyone have any ideas or know where I can get a wiring diagram? Do I have to purchase an aftermarket adapter? Any help will be appreciated.

You need a lan bus interface. I need to know if you vehicle has onstar/bose. the interface will give you back retained accesory power and chimes.
