Default pulsating brakes...warped rotors; need advice

I am having issues with pulsating brakes on a 2006 Equinox...I'm considering what I should do about them since we don't have extra money laying around. I've called the dealership where we purchased it, and they told me it sounds like warped rotors, but we're no longer covered under warranty. Is there any other reason for the pulsation, or should I seriously consider replacements? And what should I be looking for as far as new rotors and pads? Any suggestions?

Usually you get a rotor "turned" or resurfaced and you sand the brake pads and it'll usually patch the problem up for a while. That will take care of the warpage.

The best thing it to buy new rotors, have them turned before installation and get ceramic pads.
