Default 1972 Chevy Beauville motorhome

Hello to all,
I just bought a 1972 Chevy Beauville motorhome. It has 8.75 16.5 tires on it right now. I am looking to put get 16 inch rims and tires on it because I think it will be cheaper to buy a wheel and tire package for 16's than just tires for 16.5's. My problem is I don't have the motorhome here and am not sure of the backspacing. It is a 8 lug wheel. Anybody have a clue where I might find an answer? I am not sure if I should have posted in this forum but another member suggested it.
