Default 1999 Chevy Express 3500 5.7 No heat

Ok working on friends 1999 3500 express 5.7, its ho no heat. Heater hoses are hot. Is there a blend door on these vans? Where it located? Hard to get to? I imagine its the issue.

Only other thing I can think of is the heater valve (vacuum controlled thing on heater hose) was leaking a few months back and I replaced it. At time seems fine but could I have put any of the hoses on in the wrong place? Its in a very hard place to get to and I did most of the job by feel. I know the hoses to heater core were right but the two from the motor.......ehhh might be backwards. Would this matter? I did hold the valve in both positions today and it still has no heat.

Any pics of what hose goes where?

Thanks

Mike
