Default 95 chevy van 2wd to 4wd by body swap

I have a 95 Chevy van 20, 5.7L, 2wd, with the 5 star lug pattern.

It's been sittin in the yard for years doesn't run anymore so I was wondering what 4wd chassis would be the easiest to put the body of the van on.

I don't think that is how the older vans were converted to 4x4. I think the front end was swapped for a chev pickup one with the solid front axle. Thats why they end up 10 feet tall.
