Default Body line differences between 77 and 78 models?

Hello- New user here.

I did a search and didnt see anything that would specify body changes throughout the 71-95 body period. I recently took in my pop's old 1977 g10 van and look to slowly replace the rusted panels. I found the repair panel to go over the rear wheels that fits all years, but the panel that replaces past the gas filler lists for 78-up.

In an interest to keep from flooding your site with repeat questions, I'll start the coorisponding threads in the right locations. But I just cant find anything that specifies the differences between 77-78 except the new grille and mechanics.

Thanks
