Default How do I remove engine cover on Express Van?

I own a 2004 Express Van, and I can't figure out how to remove the engine cover. Most engine covers are held in place by two clamps and two bolts. I removed the two clamps on the engine cover, but I still can't get the cover to come off. Are the bolts hidden? The owner's manual does NOT explain how to remove the engine cover. Any help will be appreciated.

im not sure of the difference between yours and mine. but i would think chevy kept it close. my 98 has 2 bolts on top of the console (cup holder) and 2 on the bottom. the 2 top ones are hidden behind the plastic dash pieces. I had to pull out the bottom of the black dash piece (the whole part that covers the speedo and most of the dash) it pops out. then pop out the interior colored piece that is right above the console. once all the bolts are off you can remove the cup holder/console and now can remove the engine cover. my engine cover is held on by spring retention nylon straps. its a pain in the a$$. Fords come out with no tools, so much easier.

Follow this video, but to completely remove the cover (like to the back of your van), also remove the passenger seat, 4 nuts, and a couple electrical connectors, very easy.
