Looking for a particular van...long shot, please help
Hey, I just found this site in my search for a very special van. At least, it's special to me.
My grandparents bought a 76 or 77 Vandura brand new. Had it camperized and travelled north america and lived in it full time for close to 20 years. They sold it a while ago, and it was sold again. I really would love to find Betsy and bring her back to glory before my grandma leaves this earth (grandpa passed a few years ago)
The details. It is a 76 to 77 Vandura. Brown (bronze brown). Has a very unique white bubble top that had a sleeper above the front seats. Had a large metal rear bumper that was about 3 feet longer than the van with a big wooden toolbox on it.
I know this is a long shot. My grandparents square danced for years, and travelled for years. Betsy would probably be pushing over 600,000 to 700,000 miles by now.
Please help if you can. If you spot anything oddball that looks like this, snap a photo, get a plate number, a phone number ,whatever.
thanks
dan

you might be better to make a modern version and call it Betsy2 and take a pic of your grand parents with the original and frame it and have it displayed inside!!
