2000 Express Conversion van has a problem with rear seating

rear seat motor
mine gets hung up sometimes and it's a two person job: one to continuously operate the switch, the other to physically try to move the seat. I thought it was getting hung up on the seat belts but I'm not convinced that's the problem.

you might want to take the motor and gear box out. Clean the gear box out and regrease. Oil the motor. Some kids at some time were probably sitting on the seat and messing with the switch putting undue stress on it.

That bed motor is a super simple device that only takes 2 wires for power. Apply power directly and see if it works. Switch the leads and it will go the other way. If this is too difficult for your skills, take it to a friend who owns a wrench.
