Default Van into RV question

Does anyone know an easy way to dismantle the black seat thingy in the back of a 2001 Express 1500?
That black thing there.

Was that a conversion van, because that is not even close to the factory seat up in my 2002. However, basically there are bolts underneath. All along the floor. !2 on each side I think, and the passenger side ones are inside the frame rail, and the driver side ones are outside the frame.....You will need to drill out rivets to move the splash shields, and drop the spare tire to reach them all.....

That raises an interesting question. Do the Express style Conversion vans allow the seats to be reversed to face the back bench? I know I can go out there and fight with my own and try it myself, but it's cold here in Ontario and the easy answer is to pick the minds of those that know the answer outright. I miss my old G20 van that the seats were on a post that spun around 360% so we could play cards on those ****ty days when the rain poured down and we needed to entertain ourselves.

i want to know also.

from what i can see... the only thing preventing it are the plastic surroundings on the carpet.

i think if you cut it out so its a perfect rectangle...the seats should slide right into the slots

There are nuts on the bottom, and they are most likely very rusty, hard to remove since they are likely made of the cheapest metal available. On the other hand, that thing weighs probably like 100 lbs and I would hate to haul around so much excess weight.
