Default wiring problems

I have a 93 conversion g20 Chevy Van that has developed a rear wearing harness problem. It seemed as though the problem was a short in the tail lite but when I got into fixing it the problem has become a major problem. It seems now that my right turn signal along with several if not most of the other circuits also has a short.Anyone have an idea as where a short of this size might happen? Any help would sure be appreciated

Welcome to the forum
I would check places where the wires pass through frame and body panels for possible chaffing and wear through... also check any junctions and or connections for corrosion....

From much much experience when faced with weird electrical problems I always check GROUNDS first. I have spent weeks chasing problems only to end at a corroded ground.
