1978 K10 Electrical Problems...
Here's the story: Truck won't start. It has always started with 1/2 a throttle pump and BANG she running great. The truck has 90,000 original miles on it. Last weekend my cousin borrows it, and now he has it and it won't start. The good news: there is fuel to the carb. Bad news: No spark. He replaced the plugs, coil, ignition module, and rotor. The cap looks good without any visible wear or damage. There is power to the coil.
Any thoughts on where to go from here? He said that he looked at a manual and one of the troubleshooting guides said to check the vacuum controler...??? Any one had this experience or know of a solution? Thanks[/align]

like golfer said were the wires the pickup make connection they were to short on oem's and they would get brittle and break from constant movement .the aftermarket wire's are longer .
