Default 1999 Suburban LT front speaker trouble

My new to me '99 Suburban's front speakers don't work, rear speakers work fine.
I took the radio out and thought it may have come unplugged, (someone has put in an aftermarket sirius) but all is fine there. I have a hard time believing that both front speakers have failed, so I think it may be an amp or connection somewhere else in the vehicle. The tweeters do make some sound, not the main door speakers.

Thanks in advance,

Dave

The factory speakers are cheap speakers with paper cones. They do not sound good for very long. The would more than likely vibrate but still work but anything is possible. You need to take off the door panels and check the speakers and wiring to them.
