Default 305 head- 350 head

I was wondering if anyone can tell me if a cylinder head from a sbc 305 will work on a sbc 350. will it make a 327 or will the compression ratio be way off.

If somene could help that would be great.
Thanks

Scroll down a little bit and read the thread on my engine swap questions. I swapped a 350 for a 305 and there was quite abit of information posted on swapping the heads. It is do-able, but not recommended. Good luck

it will raise the compression but cut the power because 305 heads cant flow at all, u will end up with an engine that cant flow and the timeing will be waaaay retarded so it will be absolutely gutless
