Default 3.4 swap?

hey guys i want to do a 3.4 swap into my current 2.8 87 camaro.
1st does anyone know the best way or where i can get ahold of a 3.4 engine
2nd what are your insight on them? my buddy has one in his 92 s10 and its amazing

I think you would be better off looking at the 4.3 like 1Gary said. It would require the same amount of work and probably the same money. Depending on the money you have to spend you can find 1 at the local junkyard or a new crate motor.

yeah but i heard the 3.4 is strong and fast, im getting ready for college so i need the better MPG and if i throw any v8 in it ill have to replace abunch of stuff

yeah but its not as string as the 3.4 and the big thing for me is that the 3.4 bolts right up and i only need to buy a few things, as aposed to new front spring and such
