Change rocker arms
Guys I am new to the site and hope you can help me. I have a 86 k10 truck with a 350 with a small cam. I would like to change the rocker arms. Now it has the stock 1.5 on the truck I would like to put the roller tips 1.6. Can I do this without any problems ? Someone told me that the push rods would rub the head. But I don't know. I'm sure some of you guys have tried this. What happened? Did it work? Thank You for any help.

1.6 ratio rockers are special application rockers. Some people think it is a way to cheat and get a little more lift out of there baby camshaft.
None of your push rod, rocker, valve tip geometry will be correct if you do this. If you need a bigger cam put in a bigger cam. 1.6 rockers are not the way to get more lift. You will create more troubles than the nominal lift you will obtain.
