Edlebrock 1406 Tuning Procedure LMK?
This might be a dumb question, but after tearing down my carb and putting it back together with step by step instructions from edlebrocks owners manual, it says the the Step Up Pistion Spring for the metering rods is 4"??? Now does that mean that the spring needs to be 4" long un-compressed?? Kind of stuck here....
And still am awaiting to see if this will work, Floats are good, the entire carb has been gone through, just like last time, and it ran great that one time, then after that NOTHING... You guys are a Great Help!!!

I think what the 4 inches for the step up spring is a measurement for vacuum....4-in. Hg. I have a calibration kit here, it is the Yellow spring. The different colored springs have different tensions....thats my two cents, I no carb expert though
