electrical problems - won't turn
hi, all:
i have a 61 biscayne and the other day, at the gas station, i lost all electrical (nothing happened when I'd crank). I assumed it was the switch and replaced it at the station, and everything was fine. Last night, I turned it to start and it cranked right up, then I pulled the lights, and the whole thing shut down (there's nothing, no spark, no electricity, no acc, etc). It's a fairly simple electrical system (the ignition has four prongs on it: acc, starter, battery, ign), and I can't figure out where the problem is. I don't have a voltimeter, and frankly, I'm broke (end of the month), so I'm not going to pop for one. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to start, where to look? All fuses look right.
Thanks,
n
