Default engine stop while driving !

my 1995 tahoe, 350 tbi engine shut down last saturday while driving . I checked all fuses , ok , then i thought it was the fuel pump again , but I believe it work cause I can heard it when I turn on the ignition key and if I try to start the engine , I got gas in the tbi , but it seem to me like there s no spark , so I replace distributor cap and rotor , which was in bad shape , but still nothing , so I'm stuck trying to figure it out , any help will be welcome . could it be the ignition coil ? how can I check if there is voltage coming out of it ? can the computer be bad too .

Could be the ignition coil and or the module. Ignition module failure is fairly common.

yah usually if the truck just shuts off, no sputtering or lack of power, but just shuts down, it is the ignition module. its Really easy to change and not terribly expensive.

Don't forget to put the dielectric grease on the metal plate on the bottom of the module before you install it in the distributor.
