Default FUEL PRESSURE

I need some help in finding what my fuel pressure should be on my 2000 chevy 1500 swb truck with a 4.3l v-6. I am having some trouble with starting my truck when it has been driven awhile. I shut it off to go to the store and come out and at this point it dosen't want to start on the first turn of the key. It takes a couple of crank cycles befor it starts. It seems as if there isn't enough fuel pressure. I can hear my fuel pump cycle for a couple of seconds so I know that my pump is working but not shure if the pressure is there. My truck has 94,000 miles on it if this helps any for the diagnosis. If anyone can give me some suggestions I would deeply appreciate it. Thanks for your time.
