Default Head question..

I have a 1999 tahoe with a 350 in it. I was told it has a cracked head. Will the heads from a 305 the same year fit it and work ok? Sorry for the dumb question, but I need some help.

Thanks

Ive heard of people swapping 305 heads onolder engines for higher compression. Your computer could adjustto make it work, but why risk heads that have been laying in your buddys garage when reman 350 heads cost $150 bucks each (plus core charge for 1!).
