Default Help a poor fool out

OK guys. I feel stupid for admitting this but here goes. A buddy gave me an edelbrock to replace my qjet last week on my 350. Without thinking I hooked it up as the qjet was.... well as everyone probably knows (except me) the front of a qjet is the fuel line and the front of a edelbrock is for the pcv.... so I pumped in no telling how much gas this way. Can someone please tell me how much damage I've done and what I need to do from here. And feel free to call me an idiot if you must I'm afraid I've ruined a beautiful engine.

I assume it didn't run/drive like this? Change the crankcase oil would be my guess, but I'm a veterinarian, not a mechanic!

I agree, I don't think it ran as it wasn't get any fuel where it needed it. I would also change the oil filter.

Advice given sounds good to me...

No I didn't run it after it happened, I drained the oil after the fact and filled the cylinders with oil, just didn't know if I may have messed anything else up. Thanks for the advice if anyone has any additional advice thanks also

Should not be a problem since it didn't run. Oil change and filter should do it. Maybe a 2nd oil change after it gets to operating temp so you can sleep well at night!
