injector testing
I'm working on a '91 Corsica, 3.1. and have two injector questions.
1. what is the trick to remove the injectors from the manifold. the fuel rail is off, I thought the injectors would come out with the rail but no way. Do I just use force?
2 what resistance shold they have? four are 12.4 one is 11.3 and one is 1.5 my quess is 1.5 is trash and 11.3 is maybe, but I can't find any specs.
Thanks
Rich

RE: injector testing
Spray the injectors with a lubethen twist and pull. Its been awhile but I was thinking they were supposed to check out closer to 14 but not sure where I found it out at anymore. One things for sure the 1.5 is certainly dead.

RE: injector testing
You can smell gas in the vaccum line is one way you can tell that its bad. As for finding the right specs for the injectors get to a library n use ALLDATA online. Just remember to bring a note book so you can write down whats suppose to be what.
