Intake Manifold Cover - Taking it off
Hello,
I have a 2007, Chevy Avalanche, V8, and would like to clean the Throttle Body Intake. But, I don't see how to get the Intake Manifold Cover off. I am using a Haynes Repair manual and I don't see a reference to it. When I visually look, I don't see any obvious screws.
I would appreciate some advise.
Thanks,

Yes...but?
Yes, that's all that I want to do. How do I get the Intake Manifold Cover off?
It isn't obvious to me.
Thanks

You would probably be just fine cleaning the throttle body only.[/quote]

I'll take a look at my factory service manual when I get home this evening and see what I can post if someone is not able to answer it before them...

• DO NOT use the intake manifold-to-cylinder head gaskets again.
Remove the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) hose - dirty air (716).
Remove the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor (714) and retainer (736), as required.
Remove the O-ring (715) from the sensor, as required.
Remove the intake manifold bolts (512).
Remove the intake manifold (500) with gaskets.
Remove the intake manifold gaskets (514).
Discard the intake manifold gaskets.
