Vortec 7.4 to 5.7 swap
I have a 1999 K2500 Suburban LT with a 7.4l vortec. I found a 5.7l vortec out of a 1999 Tahoe for a decent price. Can I pull the 7.4 and drop in the 5.7 easily or will there be a great hassle to this. What, if any, special parts/etc would I need? Will the engine work with my computer or will I need that as well?
