Default Really new to chevy

I have never owned anything chevy but I might start. Here is a quick run down, I was given a 350 motor out of a boat. I am thinking of putting this in a swamp buggy that I am building. First off can this be done? Can you take a marine motor and make it applicable in a buggy? If so can you lead me in a dirction that I can find information on how to do it? Also, can anyone tell me what the difference between the two besides the obvious. Thanks

If you have a 350 cubic inch chevy motor, your basically just talking about your standard small block V8 that was put in cars and trucks for years. I would imagine the engine would be the same, but I would assume the plumbing for the engine ie: fuel and coolant would be different. There is no blueprint on how to change it. It all depends on your specific application. Actually come to think of it I don't even know if inboard boat motors use coolant. They might just use lake water for cooling. If thats the case, there might be a bit more to it. I think I'm in over my head here. I don't know boats very well. Oh well, I tried.

the motors r the same. marine motors have a hotter cam and r made to run at a constant higher rpm over a street engine. u can use this in ur swamp buggy. i also kno that if the engine came from a twin engine inboard that one engine will turn clockwise and the other counterclockwise.
