spindles and ball joints

Default spindles and ball joints

are 1967 chevrolet 1/2 ton spindles and ball joints the same as a 1968 gmc 3/4 ton? if so can i interchange them?

Hi bigbare01,

Welcome to the Chevy Forums.

It's highly doubtful they'll be the same size. Even if the spindles or the ball joints technically are the same size, the casting of the parts they're attached to is probably larger on the 3/4 ton vehicle.

You can measure them, however, and if they are the same parts they should bolt right on.

if u have the 3/4 ton truck, the cross members will bolt right up to your 1/2 ton
