Default TBI vs Carburetor

i just want to get some of your opinions and feelings about tbi's and/or carburetor's. i have a 1990 caprice tbi 305 and soon in the near future i am planning to replace the engine all together. i know i'm definetly will be putting a 350 under the hood but i dont know wheather to stick with tbi or go carburetor. just to keep in mind i stay in florida so cold weather will not be a factor if i go carburetor...thanks.
