Default Worn lobe on cam??? Help

I have a 84 chevy 350 in my 89 S10 blazer and was running good when I first bought it. Then I lost a lobe on my cam and I replaced the cam and lifters. I checked the push rods and they were ok. New gaskets and all...Two weeks later, lost the same lobe on a new cam. I have asked severl mechanics/ friends and everyone is stumped on this. Any one out there have any idea what might be going wrong???
