What are you getting MPG out of your HHR?
I see the paper work says 22/28 but real world is diff. It has the same motor as the cobalt right? That gets 37 hwy wondering why this is so far off from that.

The cobalt is a bit lighter and probably has different gearing as well. I've been getting 28 to 35 on average, although playing with the DIC I can see up to the 90s just by coasting with a good back wind. As in anything, your technique plays a lot in this. My 2010 HHR is a panel, so it is a tiny bit lighter than the wagon. Glass is heavier than the steel panels. The best way to see what you average in mileage is just use simple math and calculate your fuel usage every time you fill the tank.

Gas Mileage 2007 HHR
We average 25-29 overall. Highway is in the low to mid 30's and city is no lower than 24. Great car with the shaft that the oil companies are giving us daily.
