Default outside temp sensor

can anyone tell me the location of the outside temp sensor on the '09 HHR , my current one seems to be slow in reading and it blanked out the other day, when I started it several hours later it worked again. I think it may be going bad

If you're still looking for an answer, the ambient air temperature sensor is located behind the passenger side fog lamp. It's probably best to pass on the under-body washes at those touchless high-pressure car washes.

No, car washes are fine. Just try not to do the under-body wash at touchless places since they usually depend on high-pressure spray to do the wash.
