Default Impala ss

So I'm thinking of selling my 1999 Jimmy and maybe buying a car. But I want a faster car thats not too bad on gas and of course looks pretty good. From what I've seen a 2006-2007 Impala SS is what I'm looking for and the prices aren't that bad either. I'm wondering how good these cars are. Does anyone who owns one of these or has driven one have anything bad to say about them?

My buddy has a 06 v-6 Impala. He loves it and hasn't had any problems. All he does with it is change the oil. He doesn't do a lot of mantainence on it.

I'm bored too and would love to own one of those SS's. My 06 Impala has 60,000 on the clock and is almost too good to be true (trying not to hex it). Test drive one and let us know if the V8 runs as good as I've heard.

The college I go to has a 2006 impala ss as a shop car for the automotive program. I've driven that one and I love it. From a dead stop on dry pavement I floored it and it spun the front tires for about 40 feet and I think it would have kept going but a teacher yelled at me. I was really impressed. The 5.3l seems to really pull that car.

I think I'm going to start looking for one. The interior is super comfortable and actually really nice to look at.
