Default 2014 brake/steering issues

2014 Impala LT

Starting heading to work this morning and as I was driving a few things happened:

1) (( ABS )) light turns on
2) Stability Track issue warning on the information console displays
3) Power steering is gone
4) Stability light on instrument panel turns on (car w/ curvy road underneath it)

Anyone experience this before or know what caused these issue to "just happen"?

abs, stability control and even powersteering system all are piggybacked-they share information and components needed for operation. One common fault may be causing problems in each system. Have the fault codes read...that is the starting point for diagnosis.

Ended up being one of the ABS encoder rings on the wheel hub. Of course you have to replace the hub not just the ring.

And why that affected the power steering is beyond me...

because it uses electric power steering. some vehicles use abs wheel speed data for vss input...and this is needed for speed sensitive steering. When the fault set, a default assist amount is used.
