Default 2014 center stash box problems

Was at the 2014 DC Auto Show with a 2014 Impala (no 2015's there!!!)..

the center stash box had issue raising up. It would move about 1/2" to 3/4" up and then stop with each button push.

the drivers stash box was still good.

The vehicle's build date was 12/2013.

The Autoshow cars are abused by hundreds of people each day. People get in them pull on any thing that moves, steal ***** and shifter handles and generally treat them like trash. I am not surprised that the car at the Autoshow was broken. The Impala at the Detroit autoshow also had the center door broken.

haha maybe same car?

I was surprised to not see a 2015 model.

The SS felt a step lower in build quality from my 1 minutes of sitting it.

Well - when I closed the door with the window down - it rattled quite a bit.

I didn't check for triple sealed doors..but definitely felt like my 4th gen f-body when closing the door.

And oh - the hood was super easy to close, as opposed to the 2014 impala.

Don't get me wrong, still a nice car.

The Vette fit like a glove though.
