Default Door ajar sensor problems?

The door ajar light has just lit up on my 2004 Impala LS. All of the doors and trunk is closed. The light will not go off. Also, it has started when I press the unlock button on the key fob, the horn blows and the lights flash 3 times. It has just started doing this. When I am going down the road sometimes the light will go off, but then the doors will sound like they are locking and ding. Also, when I lock the car, in a few minutes the alarm will sound for no reason. So I have to leave my car unlocked. HELP!!! Any suggestions?

Default RE: Door ajar sensor problems?

sounds like the car suddenly thinks the door is being opened.
Id suspect the mechanism/switch for the light.
i dont remember what it looks like on the impalas. it may be a switch that you can press (like the old cars) or it may be electrical contacts, you can try cleaning them.
it may even be inside the door.
just sounds like a bad connection
