Default engine cover bracket

I am rebuilding my motor in my 2003 chevy impala and I have an engine cover bracket left over after putting everything back together and for the life of me, I can't remember where it goes. Any pictures of where this engine cover bracket goes is very much appreciated?

It would be helpful to know which engine you have since there were 2 available and they use different brackets.

Since you know what you took apart during the rebuild, you could also review some online diagrams such as 3.4 brackets or 3.8 brackets.

It is the 3.8 L. From all the diagrams that I can see, I can't see this part.

should just bolt to the back of the rear head, that hole is where the dowel on the cover goes in
