Default Hi I'm new at this. Looking for a way to turn off seat belt chime

Hi my name is Adam and I'm new at this. I just purchased a used 2007 impala LT and love it. My only problem is the annoying driver and passenger seat belt chime. I know the easy sollution is to wear the belt, but that is beside the point. Does anyone know how the turn off the chime or am I doomed to hear it forever. My wife used to have a Ford Focus a few years ago and there was a key, light and seat belt combination that made it stop. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks.

on the trucks if you hook it up and leave it for about 5 seconds and unhook it it wont go off again....some new ones you can turn down the chime in the 'information center' and last see if you can unplug it under the seat, but this may screw you power seat up to......other then that ya i dont know....put hte damn thing on its law in most places now.

A ghetto way is to get an extra latch and put it in so it thinks you have your seatbelt on.
