2014 impala 2.5 4 cyl
#2
Hi Mr Bumper from the other forum.
I really don't think you are going to find anyone who has joined any forums with a 2.5L 4 cylinder Impala, new model style.
I do remember seeing like 1 youtube video review - but I don't think it included a test drive.
Your wallet will probably be heavier if you buy the 4 cylinder
The Impala is FULL size, so that's why no one likes the smaller motor.
I can tell you with the V6 and a trunk full of heavy crap - it does not flinch in the mountains or struggle at all.

When the older Impala's used the 3.8L V6 it had 200 HP and 225 Lb-Ft of torque and nobody complained that it was not powerful enough to move the car. The 2014-15 with the 2.5 has 196 HP and 186 Lb-Ft of torque, not that much less than the 3.8L V6 of past. It should be plenty of power to move the car adequately. It may not be as much fun as the 3.6L but should not be much worse than previous V6 offereings.
