Default starting problems

I have a 85 impala. My battery is fully charged, alternator is working and starter is brand new but it still wont turn over. Need help and advice

Is this a carb? that's b4 my time... welll not quite.. my 1st car I think was carb (85 gm 2.0l)???? but I was only 16... lol


Do you have fuel and/or spark?!!!

what motor do you have???!!

Is it a manual?

Try pushing the gas pedal a little before turning the key.

So the engine won't turn over. Does '85 have the VATS system that used the resistor in the key? From what I think I remember if the resistor and/or ignition lock get worn and don't get good contact on the resistor, the VATS system will disable starting...
