85 k10 high oil pressure

85 k10 high oil pressure
when i start my truck and let it sit the oil pressure gauge sits halfway at the 30 mark. until i start driving. when i put my foot on the gas the it maxes out and goes to the 60 mark until i let off and occasionally the truck will spit grey smoke. any ideas on why this is happening?
