Tail Lights in 2002 Malibu
Hello,
When I bought my 02 Malibu I noticed the tail lights looked like they had condensation inside them. Also, one bulb was not working. After figuring out how to remove the tail lights, the bulb that was out had actually melted to the tail light housing. I dried the inside of the lenses out and replaced the burned bulb. a few weeks later I notice the inside of the lenses have condensation on them again. I checked for leaks around the gaskets but, didn't see anything that caught my eye. Do I need to purchase new tail lights? I sure hope not. ugh. Thanks for your help!

Might need to purchase a new taillight. My advice is to drill a tiny hole in the bottom of the lense, one that is very inconspicuous, so as to let the water drain out of the assembly. This has worked for me in tha past.If that doesn't work then you have either a hole in the lense somewhere or a seal issue.
