Default 05 malibu 4cyl electrical issues

Im having problems with my 05 malibu. the electric mirrors move only left and right on the drivers side and will only sometimes move up and down, the trunk open button only works if i press it a few times, the power locks do the same and the biggest thing is the electric shift buttons on the shifter for manual control in low dont work. another thing that i think is completely unrelated is that the brakes seem to pulse abs only barely and very briefly also when i gently press the brakes going anything faster than you could go in your driveway.

Car is ten years old. I have issue with my Mazda mirrors, they need "help" with up down. Check your ground battery cable, that seems like a problem with the rest of your issues.

the false abs activation is occurring due to one of the wheel speed sensor signals dropping out. you must find and replace the bad wss harness.

Default I fixed it!!!

so the faulty electrical was not due to a bad ground (thats what i thought it was) but instead the electrical connector within the driver door to remove the door panel with all of the switches attached.
the shifter was easier, apparently the wires used for the electric shift always get severed in the console. so i ripped it apart and low and behold both the pink and yellow wires were severed!
