I got my 2002 Malibu for my birthday. My grand-dad paid 2000$ for it. (Big mistake) Now I drove about 2 months with it, with no problems... When I decided to change the oil (I did not know the last time the owner had did it.) my boyfriend and I noticed a weird gunk in the oil.. When he checked the coolant, to our surprise it was all brown and gooey... We came to a conclusion that it was a blown head gasket or the manifold.. I don't want to repair it because the car is finished anyways... It's not worth it. I did do a coolant flush to help preserve it's life. My real question is: "how long can the car run with it's problem?" Will it die in a couple of days? Will the motor **** down while i'm driving? I'm kinda nervous. In the meantime I need the car to get back and forth to work...
