2005 Chevy Malibu Classic Headlights
Can anyone please tell me what type of headlight bulbs a 2005 Chevy Malibu Classic takes, I thought it was9005 LOW BEAM/9006 HIGH Beam, I matched the bulbs with the same body style of a 2003. I looked up a 2005 but it only shows the new body style (different bulbs), and there was no chevy malibu classic option.. HELP PLEASE!!!

Wow hey thanks- Im actually trying to order new bulbs for a girl and she said she had an 05 Classic. Basically the car looks exactly like an 03 so im just going to order the same an 03 would take.

RE: 2005 Chevy Malibu Classic Headlights
I just bought a 2005 Classic from my local Chevrolet dealer. Title says 2005, and so does the manual. 4 speed automatic, 2.2 4cyl DOHC 16 valve motor. So, I guess there are 2005 classics.

The Chevrolet Malibu and the Oldsmobile Cutlass were introduced in the 1997 model year. The Cutlass was discontinued after 1999, and the Malibu was renamed the Classic in the 2004 model year. The Classic was discontinued after 2005. Note: 2004-05 Classics were sold as new cars only to fleets.

2004 Chevy Malibu Classic Headlight socket
Hello,
I replaced the passenger side headlight socket/headlight (9006) and now the passenger headlights are dim. I replaced due stock headlight socket shorted out.
Does anyone know how to fix this issue?
Thanks, Shawn

I'm sorry to hear of the problem with your Malibu headlights. Are there any water leaks?
You may want to consider having them inspected by a certified technician. They should be able to offer more information after a physical inspection.
Keep us posted.
