So I have searched forums everywhere to find an answer to this problem and it seems like no one else is having this issue. So CEL went on a while back and then wouldn't start, replaced the battery and CEL went off. Tried to remote start the car and 1) it didn't start and 2) the CEL was back on again. Reset the CEL and it stayed off until I attempted to remote start the car again and it did the same thing as before. After a few days the light went back off and I have not tried the remote start since and it has remained off.

Has anyone ever had the remote start CAUSE the CEL to come on? Other quirky things started happening after we replaced the battery too, like the radio will sometimes just start flipping stations , the up volume on the steering wheel turns volume down...

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!
