2011 Malibu throttle body electric connector
Hello all,
First time here. I removed the throttle body on my 2011 Malibu (4 cyl, non-flex fuel motor) for cleaning, and happened to break the cheap plastic clip that connects the electric "fly-by-wire" throttle connector to the throttle body. These parts seem to get cheaper and more brittle every year. This connector seems to go by many names, including the "throttle actuator control." This is the part that has a 6-pin connector that plugs into the throttle body.
I'll need to replace it, and parts are on the way. However, I can't seem to locate any wiring diagram or information on these 6 wires. Can anyone point me in the right direction for verifying what each wire on this connector does? I'll need to splice them to the new connector and would like to verify I connect them right. Thanks.
On a more positive note: That throttle body is very clean now.
