Default brake lights

My brake lights stay on while driving but when I press the brake pedal the rear lights go off...I heard it might be corroded connectors on the sensor but don't know where the sensor is. Is it at the brake pedal?

It might be corroded sockets for the bulbs. They should be cleaned or replaced if they are real bad. The brake light switch is at the brake pedal.

Your brake switch could be bad. Check it out and make sure the connections are fine with your brake system.

I heard there was a sensor in this years model, not a switch? And that if it was worked on it would have to be calibrated. Where can I get a manual or tech reference guide online?

Try a Haynes manual available at most auto parts stores. Also try and Google it.
